Rodney Peele
Rodney Peele is the Secretary of the MCCPTA Board of Directors. Rodney has advocated on a variety of educational issues with teachers, program directors, principals, MCPS central office staff, the Montgomery County Board of Education, the Montgomery County Council, the Maryland State Board of Education and the Maryland State Department of Education, including two appeals and two comment letters to the State Board. MCCPTA roles have included: Vice President for Education Issues (February 2020 - May 2022), Area Vice President for central area clusters (February 2020 - May 2021), Richard Montgomery Cluster Coordinator (2016 - 2020), Ritchie Park ES Delegate (2013 - 2016), and Curriculum Committee. MCPS experience includes Accelerated and Enriched Instruction Feedback Council, Advisory Committee on active shooter training for ES, Curriculum Advisory Assembly, Curriculum Recovery Team, Grading and Reporting Work Group, Blueprint for the Future College and Career Pathways Work Group, the KLA-RA Regulation Review Team, and others.
